1. About BetterTransfer
BetterTransfer is a marketplace that connects travellers with independent local drivers for private transfers in Albania and Montenegro. We do not provide transport services ourselves — all transfers are carried out by independent drivers.
2. How It Works
When you submit a transfer request, independent drivers may submit price offers. You review these offers and choose to accept one. Once accepted, you communicate directly with the driver and pay them in cash. BetterTransfer charges no booking fees and takes no commission from the transaction.
3. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate contact information (name, WhatsApp number) when booking
- Be present at the agreed pickup location at the agreed time
- Communicate any changes to the driver as early as possible
- Treat drivers with respect
- Not use the platform for any unlawful purpose
4. Driver Responsibilities
Drivers on BetterTransfer are independent contractors, not employees. They are responsible for maintaining valid licences, insurance, and road-worthiness of their vehicles. Transport companies may register a company account and add multiple vehicles. Each company is responsible for all vehicles and drivers that operate under their account. BetterTransfer carries out a manual review before activating any driver but cannot guarantee the outcome of any individual journey.
5. Cancellations
You may cancel a booking at any time before a driver has been confirmed. Once a driver is confirmed, please contact the driver directly on WhatsApp to arrange a cancellation. BetterTransfer has no cancellation or refund policy since payments are made directly to drivers in cash.
6. Limitation of Liability
BetterTransfer is a technology platform only. We are not liable for the actions of drivers, delays, accidents, lost property, or any other issues arising from a transfer. Your contract for transport is with the driver, not BetterTransfer.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
